Grab Bounce

A 2D platformer where the player uses trampolines to bounce higher, avoid obstacle hazards, and collect power-ups to reach the top of the level. The main objective is to avoid obstacles, grab hearts for extra lives, and collect power-ups (represented by apples) that grant a boosted jump to help the player traverse difficult areas. Players also collect gems to increase their score as they progress through increasingly challenging stages. The game is still in progress and currently features only a few levels.

My Contributions:

Designed the core gameplay mechanics, including the trampoline bounce mechanic, power-up system, and heart/life mechanics.

Integrated free assets to build out the visual design while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.

Focused on creating fun, reactive platforming challenges with obstacles that require skillful timing and quick reflexes.

Currently refining the level design to introduce new hazards and variations in gameplay while improving overall difficulty progression.

Implemented the score system and the mechanics for lives and game-over conditions.
